Luxury vinyl is thicker, and therefore, more comfortable to walk on. Because of advanced printing technology that provides deep embossing, it also more realistically imitates stone and wood. Engineered hardwood, which consists of a core that is bonded to a layer of hardwood, is another good flooring choice. Also consider terracotta or stones like slate, marble, or travertine.
